Real estate in Nigeria, handled — wherever you live.
You don't need to fly home to buy, sell, let or renovate a property in Nigeria, and you don't need to hand it over to a relative and hope for the best. Aurban is a single, accountable point of contact who does the viewings, the vetting, the paperwork and the difficult conversations on your behalf — in the UK, the US, Canada, the Gulf, or anywhere else you're calling home right now.
Whatever you need, from wherever you are
Five things diaspora clients actually ask us for. If it's something else, tell us — the point of Aurban is one contact for all of it, not five different people to chase.
We represent you at the negotiating table
You don't have to trust a listing photo or a phone call from someone you've never met. We view the property, verify the title is real, negotiate on price, and keep you updated at every step — you approve, we execute. Not sure where to start? See our Lekki neighborhood guide for what to actually expect from the area where most of our own listings sit.
Your property, managed without the family drama
If you have a property to sell, lease or rent out in Nigeria, we market it, screen who's serious, negotiate and close — without you needing to lean on a relative to "keep an eye on it," field calls from time-wasters, or referee a family dispute over who's in charge while you're away.
Your place, ready before you land
Coming home to spend time and want the apartment or house refreshed first — new paint, furnishing, a full interior fit-out? We manage the renovation and decoration on the ground, so it's ready when you arrive, not a work-in-progress you inherit on your first day.
Book a place to stay through us directly
Visiting for a wedding, a burial, Detty December, or just to check on things? Browse our current shortlet listings and book directly through the site — no negotiating with a stranger on Instagram.
If it touches property in Nigeria, ask us
Need someone to inspect a property before you commit to it, chase a document, meet an artisan, or just tell you honestly whether a deal looks right? That's the same team, for whatever you need — get in touch and tell us what you're dealing with.
What "handled remotely" means in practice
Diaspora buyers who get burned usually made one of a small number of mistakes — trusting a relative with no real estate experience to manage things, skipping an independent title search, or signing before seeing the place properly. Here's how we work to avoid each of those.
You see it before you commit
A live video walkthrough, not a handful of edited photos — you ask us to point the camera wherever you want, in real time.
Title gets checked independently
We don't take a seller's word for it. Documentation gets verified before you're asked to pay anything toward the property itself.
You don't have to be present for most of it
Viewings, negotiation, paperwork and renovation all happen without you on a plane. A Power of Attorney is arranged where the process genuinely needs one — we'll tell you plainly if and when that applies, not assume it upfront.
Payment happens on traceable terms
Bank transfer, with a paper trail — not cash to an intermediary, not a payment made before there's a signed agreement in place.
Three checks worth doing yourself, on any agency
Including us. A serious agency will never be bothered by you checking — and this takes under an hour from wherever you are:
Check the company registration
Search the business name at the Corporate Affairs Commission (search.cac.gov.ng) and confirm it's a real, registered entity — not just a phone number and an Instagram page.
Ask who's handling the legal side
A title search and the actual conveyancing should be done by a Nigerian lawyer, not by the agency marketing the property. Ask who that is, by name.
Ask to speak to a past client
Anyone who has genuinely closed a deal through an agency should be reachable for a two-minute call. If nobody can be produced, treat that as information.
Tell us what you need, from wherever you're typing this
One message is enough to start — buying, selling, renovating, booking a stay, or something else entirely.
