Lagos Island's historic commercial and transport core, centred on the Marina — one of the city's oldest bus and ferry interchanges.
CMS — short for Cathedral Church of Christ Missionary Society, whose 19th-century headquarters gave the area its name — sits on Marina Road and Broad Street at the heart of Lagos Island's old commercial district. It is one of Lagos's oldest and busiest transit hubs, with buses, BRT, keke and a ferry terminal (the CMS Jetty) all converging here, and remains lined with older banking and commercial buildings from the colonial era.
