Iyana Ipaja
A major transport interchange and dense residential/commercial area in Alimosho LGA — Lagos's most populous LGA.
Festac Town
A large, well-organised planned estate in Amuwo-Odofin LGA, built for the 1977 FESTAC festival and still one of Lagos's most popular middle-class residential areas.
Mile 2
One of Lagos's busiest expressway interchanges, in Amuwo-Odofin LGA, linking Apapa, Festac, Trade Fair and the road to Badagry.
Badagry
Lagos's historic coastal LGA and colonial-era port town — the gateway to Benin Republic and site of some of West Africa's most significant slave-trade heritage sites.
Epe
A historic fishing town and its own LGA at the far end of the Lekki–Epe corridor, on the shore of the Lekki Lagoon.
Ajah
The gateway to the Lekki–Epe corridor — Lagos's fastest-growing and most affordable point of entry into that stretch of the city.
Badore
A growing residential community in Eti-Osa LGA, near Ajah, with newer estate development spreading out from the main Lekki–Epe corridor.
Ikoyi
Lagos's most established old-money address — quiet, tree-lined streets, diplomatic residences, and the highest rents in the state.
Lekki
Lagos's fastest-growing corridor along the Lekki–Epe Expressway — gated estates, diaspora buyers, and the widest price range of any single area in the state.
Obalende
A dense transport and market hub in Eti-Osa LGA, at the point where Lagos Island meets Ikoyi.
Victoria Island
Lagos's financial and corporate heart — bank headquarters, multinational offices, and the most expensive rents in the state.
Eleko
An Ibeju-Lekki beach community, known chiefly for Eleko Beach, along the Lekki–Epe corridor beyond Ajah.
Lakowe
An Ibeju-Lekki community best known for Lakowe Lakes, a gated golf-course estate along the Lekki–Epe Expressway.
Ikeja
Lagos State's administrative capital — the airport, the state secretariat, and one of the mainland's most established residential and commercial mixes.
Ikorodu
A major mainland town and its own LGA — Lagos's most affordable large residential area, connected to the rest of the city by road and a lagoon ferry.
Ojota
A Kosofe LGA transport and commercial hub on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, known for its motor parks and open chemical market.
CMS (Marina)
Lagos Island's historic commercial and transport core, centred on the Marina — one of the city's oldest bus and ferry interchanges.
Yaba
Lagos's tech and student hub — home to two major institutions and the startup cluster that earned it the nickname "Yabacon Valley".
Ojo
A large western LGA along the Lagos–Badagry Expressway, home to Lagos State University and long associated with the old Lagos International Trade Fair Complex.
Trade Fair
A major wholesale trading hub built around the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, on the Lagos–Badagry Expressway near the Ojo/Amuwo-Odofin boundary.
Jakande Estate
One of Lagos's largest and most established low-cost housing estates, in Isolo — built in the 1980s under Governor Lateef Jakande and still one of the mainland's most affordable large estates.
Oshodi
Lagos's best-known transport interchange, in the LGA of the same name — rebuilt from a famously chaotic market and motor park into an organised multi-level transit hub.
Bariga
A dense, historic Shomolu-area community bordering the University of Lagos, and part of the wider belt known for Lagos's printing industry.
Fadeyi
A busy Ikorodu Road bus stop and administrative ward of Shomolu LGA, right on the boundary with Mushin and a short run from Yaba.
Onipanu
A busy Ikorodu Road market and transit area straddling the Shomolu/Mushin boundary.
Palmgrove
A busy Ikorodu Road transit hub in Shomolu LGA, bordered by Onipanu, Fadeyi, Obanikoro and Maryland.
Costain
A major Surulere interchange linking the mainland to Lagos Island via the Eko Bridge — one of the city's most strategic transport junctions.
Surulere
A long-established, central mainland neighbourhood popular with middle-income renters for its location and relative affordability.
